Does' Medicare really know how much some these implants are, screws, etc, really cost ? They are not cheap.!!!! How can AN ASC make a descent profit if they are not paying on certain implants.Some implants are more than procedure and somtimes you lose a little or break even . Its a shame . Just feel like saying this .

Please google 'Medicare device intensive procedures 2010'. You will find a list of procedures that Medicare embeds the cost of implants in the reimbursement. If Medicare is not paying for implants for other procedures, and if this is an issue for you, then exercise your right to decline Medicare patients.
