I have background as an RN for many years, but last year decided to get my certification in medical billing and coding here through AAPC. Since last fall, I have been working with the billing team for an urgent care that has multiple clinics, but we are just beginning to take Medicare next month. I am one of the few of us that will be on the Medicare team, and I would love any advice, suggestions, links, or tips as I/we prepare for this. The other billers/coders I am working with have great experience in billing and coding, but they, also, do not have background specific to Medicare. We do have those who will be training us, guiding us, etc, but any help here that some of you may have to offer would be greatly appreciated!
