Does anyone know of any new Medicare CCI edits besides the update in Oct of 2018 on how to code 29823 with 29872, 29826, and 29828? We have recently started getting denials from our MAC. Also has the policy for using a 59 modifier changed? Is it now allowed? I tried call Medicare to ask them and she couldn't tell me anything. I have researched CMS website also. We use CMS- medicare Mac JJ part B. Any help would be really appreciated.
