In search of strong Medicare/Medicaid biller, LTC experience a plus. Postion is in Elkton, MD.
knowledge of:
Claim submission of Medicare/Medicaid and other insurance billings along with timely follow up with intermediaries on denials and deliquient accounts.
Appeals process
Federal and Maryland regulations for LTC Medcaid
Collections-pursue past due accounts persistently and maintain proper back-up documentation including private pay, resident portions
make bank deposits as required
participate in the resident admission process by providing facility rates and or patient's liability.
Knowledge of Resident Trust Fund Accounts a plus
perform other duties directed by management and/or administrator.
