I am looking for guidance in regards to ASC coding for sacroiliac injections to Medicare Plus Blue. I understand that at the end of March Medicare changed/updated some guidelines in regards to this procedure and we have coded out appropriately per their rules. Codes as follows:
G02620-KX-RT
G02620-KX-LT
77002-59
Other Medicare Advantage Plans are accepting and paying on these codes and Medicare Plus Blue is denying them all. I have had to file 19 clinical edit appeals and I have still not received any help via phone calls or emails to our provider representatives on how to get these injections paid. Any help would be appreciated. Has anyone had the same issue and or found a solution?
