When you use the new codes 64633-64636 doing a bilateral procedure what is the correct modifier to code with when medicare is the primary payor?
 
As far as I know, when Medicare is the primary payor you use 1 Line, 1 unit, 50 modifier; when using bilateral in a global period you need to use 2 lines with a -78/RT and -78/LT. Hope this helps and I would check this information, just in case.
