In need of some Medicare Ohio denial guidance. I work for a mobile radiology company and preform swallow function test. We bill the following codes with an E&M code:
74230- MD swallow function w/Vid
72040: Cervical spine
71045-Chest, Frontal
74240-Upper GI exam
However, we keep getting message error: This code requires use of an Entity code-Smartedit info a potential coding error was identified with this claim. please see STC2220D loop for specific information. if you wish to continue without updates please resubmit the claim in its current state to bypass additional smartediting message: Smartedit 032POVP this claim line has a radiology procedure code for the same body area as another radiology procedure code on this claim. please review for appropriate payment.
Not sure if a modifier is needed or what? Help please?!?!?
