For a new provider: His medicare application is in process. Can I send the claims to the medicare suplemental insurances now or I have to wait until his medicare number is active?

Please advice, thanks
 
Most 2ndry plans are going to require an EOB from Medicare in order to process their claim. Hopefully, Medicare will process his application in a timely manner.
