Is there a code to use for medication change? My provider is saying that he believes that there is but I can't seem to find anything. I work at a pediatric office and we see a lot of kids with ADHD/ADD and Asthma and there medication sometimes changes. Please HELP!!!

CPT or ICD9

Are you looking for the CPT or the ICD9 code.

CPT would be whatever E/M was appropriate based on documentation.

ICD9 would be the underlying condition requiring the Rx. If there was a drug reaction that resulted in the need for the change you would code that as well.
