What CPT do we use for medication management? This would be for an adolescent treatment facility that want to bill for handing out the patients medication.

Can we do that?

I do not think you can bill a code just for handing out meds. I would think that this is included in employees hourly wage as part of their job

Is the patient being seen for a office visit where medications are discussed?

Look at 90862... I don't know if this helps or not.

You can not use 90862 for actually handing out the meds. 90862 is for managing the meds, not giving them, so I would veer away from this.

If the patient is simply coming in to pick up an Rx and not being seen by a physician, you cannot code for it.
