I am bummed--I failed my first attempt at the CPC exam!:( I really thought I did OK, but not... I am already scheduled for a retake and am feeling pretty positive about it. Whether I pass or fail, though, I am hoping there is someone out there that has been coding Nephrology and / or Vascular and would love to take me under their wing to show me the ropes. I am already billing in these areas, but am completely at a loss when it comes to coding Vascular. There are so many loopholes and different rules for different carriers!

Try going to the Coding Certification Org. I know several people have done their workshops and/or purchased their cd's and aced the CPC exam.

Best of luck!!! You'll get it....don't beat yourself up!
