Wiki MFT's and CPT code 90801

I am in need of clarification on whether an MFT can bill for a 90801.
I have read some interesting things out there but need something from Medicare that states this information.
Any help is greatly appreciated and needed!

Here's a link to Medicare's Psych Services Manual. It doesn't appear to list MFT's as billable providers of 90801 but here's the info anyway - hope it helps.

What exactly is an MFT?

Marriage and Family Therapist? I believe in Indiana, at least, Medicaid will cover but Medicare will not.
