Hi All,
How to code age undetermined myocardial infarction in previous EKG?
 
Go to "Infarct" in Index...go down to "myocardium,myocardial".....see the indentation "diagnosed on ECG, but presenting no symptoms".... I25.2

Word of caution, coders cannot code directly from the diagnostic report. The provider should make a reference to this during a face to face visit. Also, if provider simply states "Old MI" use I25.2.
