My doctor's op report says, "...A 20-microhertz micro-Doppler probe was then used to identify the spermatic artery." After ligating six veins,..."care was taken to continue to use the Doppler probe to ensure that the artery was intact."
Is the intraoperative Doppler billable? And if so, what CPT code would you use?
