1997 vs 1995 guidelines
Not sure exactly what you are asking but ...
The 1997 guidelines DO provide different guidelines for various specialties vs general exams.
The guidelines for History and MDM are the same regardless.

Yes, the criteria for the E/M Level selection of any code range (including Hospital Admissions or Consults) are the same regardless of provider specialty.
