Wiki MOD 26 on 93458 & 92928 (Cath and stent)

Hi,

Why would you append MOD 26 to these cardiac procedures and not other procedures such as 58558 as neither owns the equipment? I am not understanding why one would get and not the other.


I do understand it is primarily used for radiology services, but is someone able to explain as far as the cath and stent?
