Wiki Mod 82 with 76499, unlisted radiology service

Hi,

I have a question regarding putting mod 82 with 76499 mod 26. We have this case where we had an assistant-surgeon which we put mod 82 to the other codes but the billing dept thinks that is not necessary to put mod 82 because of the mod 26?????

I'm not sure about that but I tend to disagree and again I'm not a radiology coder.
