Wiki Moderate mdm for emergency e/m

I was taking a practice test and it said moderate mdm was 99283 but in the book it has the x marked off for moderate under 99284 now, so I'm confused which is actually correct. Since the book has 99284 as the moderate mdm that's what I've been using but maybe this was what caused me to fail the cedc, any help!
 
99284 Emergency department visit for the evaluation and management of a patient, which requires a medically appropriate history and/or examination and moderate level of medical decision making
Was your practice test question perhaps prior to 2023 guidelines??
