Wiki modifier 24 and 25

I was taught that if you use a modifier 24 on an office visit and you are also doing a procedure that day and have a correct modifier on the procedure that you do not have to put a modifier -25 on the office visit along with the -24. Has anyone else heard this or am i just crazy? It has always worked until just now I am having problems, so I don't know.
 
I have never heard that before. Modifier 25 is necessary if you have a separate OV on the same day as a procedure even if it is in the global of another procedure.
