Hi Everyone,

We have recently been told by one of our payors that we can add a 25 modifier to a preventive visit code when also billing G0101 and Q0091. Has anyone else ever had this situation?

Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide.

yes.

we have added a -25 to a preventive visit code when another separate procedure has been done.

preventive visit codes do fall under the E/M category.
