Would it be necessary to add modifier 25 to an E&M service done at the same encounter as CPT 90833. The psyc code is basically an add on code to the E&M. The description includes "bill in addition to primary procedure" which is the e&m. One of our payors will not pay both codes unless there is a modifier 25 on the Office visit. Please help
