Wiki modifier 26

Should we append modifier 26 to the codes like 72265 that has already describing just the professional component of a radiological service, It would be really nice if some body help me with this, this question may sound so basic to the professional coders here and remains unanswered but the fact is I have really searched a lot to find an answer in the CPT book and I could not find any guidance or clue.

When in doubt check the RVU file or Medicare Physician Fee Schedule lookup tool

https://www.cms.gov/apps/physician-fee-schedule/search/search-criteria.aspx

Select payment policy indicators and all modifiers and you will see the answer. If looking at the RVU file, PC/TC indicator of 1 will tell you that modifier 26 is allowed.
