Patient bring their own x-rays to there visit. Doctor needs to read them, can we bill the 26 modifier with x-ray code and be paid?
 
Why are they bringing the films? Did your doctor request that they do so? Were the films already read and billed for elsewhere?

If they have never been read...and your docs reads them and writes up a report..then maybe.

But if he just wants to see the films first hand, and he writes up a quick summation in the progress note...then no, this would just count towards data points.
