I could not find any threads started on modifier 32. I am just wondering if anyone has experience using this modifier? I am wondering if it is supportive of a consultation when mandated by a government entity such as DFACS. (For child abuse) I have found literature indicating it supports a consult, but am hearing that it is just an administrative modifier for insurance record keeping purposes.

Any thoughts or personal experience on this?
