Hello everyone -

I noticed many of our providers does eye plugs procedure CPT 68761 and fundus photography CPT 92250 on same day. Is CPT 92250 considered a multiple procedure to append modifier 51?

Per NCCI edits you can code/bill together on the same day.
 
No. The plugs are a procedure so if more than one eye has plugs inserted the same day, then you would use the 51 on the claim line for the second eye. The photos are a test which does require an Interpretation and Report in the record.
