This is in regards to Pulmonary Function Testing, specifically DLCO testing.

The patient was "unable to complete a technically acceptable DLCO", is it:

1) appropriate to code cpt 94720
2) would you use modifier 52 on the 94720 because there were no results but the patient attempted testing
