Who out there has any experience with modifier 55? I want to know if we choose to use that code would we bill the surgical code with it for every visit? My example is: 27814-55.

Yep, any visits that are for post-op care should be billed using the surgery code and modifier -55. I assume the surgeon is billing with -54? Because if the surgeon billed globally, you probably won't get paid for the post-op and you'll have to contact the other provider and ask them to submit a corrected bill and possibly a refund to the insurance company so you can get paid.
