If a procedure needs to be done on both the right and left leg. But the right leg is done first with the left leg being done at a later date is modifier 58 appropiate?
 
I don't think you would need it. I never used them for lt and rt wrist surgeries, just used the LT and RT. Sometimes it was days between the two, and sometimes it was months.
