I was wondering if anybody could give more specific information regarding modifier 58, especially need to clarify if a reduced payment should be expected for codes billed with modifier 58. Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

58 gives you 100% reimbursement - but it also re-starts the global period.
