Would you append -59 on 93010 when coding with a laceration repair?:confused:
 
My experience has been it depends on the insurance comp. BCBS seems to be the only ins. I have found that needs the 59 on the EKG interp. showing it's separate

I think the question is why do you have an EKG with a laceration repair. It does not need a 59 modifier but you may receive a denial due to medical necessity.
