Billing both Professional and Facility. I have a patient that had a seizure after anesthesia induced. The procedure was never actually started because of this. They terminated anesthesia once patient stabilized. Would I even charge for the procedure a this point since it wasn't actually started or would I just bill for the anesthesia time. I figured that for professional I wouldn't charge for the procedure, but what about for the facility. Would I bill a 45378 w/ a 74 mod? Or would I not bill anything at all?
