Wiki modifier 77 - another practice

Do you ever use 77 on an EKG because it's hitting against a EKG that was read by another practice? Thanks

77 Modifier

We do use modifier -77 frequently because we are ED and it happens often. We do get paid for these by Medicare. NC Medicaid does not like this modifier, nor does BCBS of NC. Some commercial insurances have paid us when we use this modifier.
