Hello, I received a denial stating that the patient is currently seeing another provider for physical therapy. I was asked to use modifier 77. I'm sort of reluctant because my mind tells me that the patient should not be seeing two physical therapy providers for the same diagnosis on the same date of service. Can anyone provider feedback or reference material? Thnx
