Wiki Modifier 79-exam and larygoscopy

My question is regarding modifier 79 in the office. The practicum for ENT #5 states if a patient returns to the office in his post op period for exam and larygoscopy does the laryngoscopy need a modifier? I would to get it out of the 90 day global from the laryngectomy. The answer states no since it is preformed in the office. Does this mean 79 is for OP only and not the office? HELP
