Modifier 80 & Billing for subsequent care days within the global period

Hi All,

I have two surgeons. #1=primary surgeon #2=Assistant surgeoon (80). Surgeon #2 wants to round on patient each day until discharge.

My thought is: since Surgeon#2 has billed as an Assistant surgeon(80modifier or 62-co surgeon modifier) The subsequent care days after surgery will be included in the global period and considered as non-billable.

Is this correct
