Is modifier 90 allowed on a lab CPT code that is billed by hospital/technical component/UB claim? Or is this a professional/physician billing modifier only? Our facility does not perform lab tests, so all are sent out to be resulted, but we bill for the test. The lab then seeks payment from us.
