If a patient had a low blood glucose reading and we gave them juice to help bring it up to normal and re-tested them several times over a few hours, would we report:

1) 82962-91 with 3 Units
2) 82962 x 1 unit on one line & 82962-91 x 2 units on a second line

Your help is appreciated!! :)

if the glucose test has to be repeated 3 times for example, you would post the 82962 the following way:

82962
82962/91
82962/91

I checked to see if 82962 could be posted with units, I could not see that it was possible.
When I deal with repeat labs and it is of course supported with the lab reports, I would use the 91 because it is a repeat.
