Not sure which modifier (if any) to use in this situation....

New patient comes into the clinic for a stone. Pt decides to not have surgery and will try to pass the stone. The next day, patient ends up in the ER and is admitted by one of our other providers and has an ESWL. The admit code would get the 57 because the decision for surgery was made at that visit. What would the office visit the day before get?
