I would like some help regarding the Modifier LT & RT-

coding for lap right inguinal hernia

49650/K40.90(Hernia,inguinal, right)

Do we have to add the modifier RT? Since the ICD 10 has been implemented the dx has the RT in there.

Could someone clarify this for me. Thank you Carlene:):confused:
