I have looked everywhere what is Q6 and when is it appropriate to use?
 
It is used when you have a locum tenens doctor covering for your doctor when he/she takes time off - like for maternity leave, extended vacations, if the doctor is in the military, etc... Does that help?
 
We also use it for our Hospitalists Program billing when we have locum tenens cover and it does pay!
