Hello, can anyone provide examples when you would use modifier XU. I have googled this and can only find one specific example. I would like to know when coding CPT procedures, what kind of procedures would you apply modifier XU to a CPT code?

Have you reviewed the MLN Fact Sheet Proper Use of Modifiers 59, XE, XP, XS and XU, which provides some examples of when the various modifiers would be used?
