We have a patient that had a gtube place laparoscopically during surgery. He presented to our office with a leaking problem and the tube was replaced in our office during the post operative period. What modifier do I use for this replacement procedure?
 
I would think that modifier 58 would be the best choice. It states that 1) this was related to the surgery, 2) it was done by an other qualified health care provider, and 3) that it was done in the postop period.

Thoughts?
