From my understanding you can bill clinical psychologist under Medicare but if they are not clinical you can't bill to Medicare, is that correct? I have a clinical social worker with a masters degree who wants to see the patient first and then just oversee the care of the patient. In other words they want to bill under the clinical social worker but another social worker is seeing the patient. Do I need to use a modifier??
