If patient has a two stages done and comes back a different day due to findings of the biopsy and need to continue 2 additional stages on same location.

on different day do can we bill 17312 x2 by itself? even though its an add on code?

or does the series start over 17311 17312
 
You will not be able to bill 17312 without the add-on code on the same date. If the patient returns the second day, the first new layer would be billed with 17311 - basically you start over on the new date.
