It has been brought to our attention that the RAC's are looking at the time parameters in which a MOHS procedure can be paid. MOHS stage one, for example, is to require 110 minutes; a skin graft 90 minutes. Based on these guidelines there would appear to be a limitation on the number of MOHS procedures and closure/repair codes that can be billed in any 24 hour period. Has anyone any documentation of this information I can provide to my surgeon.
