Wiki MOHS Surgery Question

Is it appropriate to send out a specimen taken from the MOHS surgery site the same day just prior to starting the MOHS procedure to get a definitive diagnosis from an outside pathologist? Can the MOHS codes still be used or does it change it to a malignancy code?
