Hello all!
This isn't really Anesthesia but, one of our CRNA's will be performing this if anyone has ever heard of it.
Sorry in Advance I have been asked about this numerous times and I have no answers please help ;)
The patient has a Pacemaker and it's turned off for an MRI so a CRNA will be monitoring vitals during the MRI.
Is there any way to code for this?
Maybe an E/M if they do a H&P prior to monitoring? There was some codes in the Medicine section that seemed close to this but, as far as coding those I just don't have the answers.
I'm in Michigan Medicare MAC WPS. And one more thing in Michigan can CRNA's bill E/M codes anyway?

I really appreciate any advice you can give me. If it's not billable I'm ok with that just need proof to let management know.
Thank you!
