Has anyone out there coded for Monovisc J7327?
I need to know if you bill 1 unit or if there are multiple units billed for 1 injection. This is my first time billing for this code.
I have all the other information regarding the NDC and milligrams I'm just missing this information.

The drug Monovisc®, a brand name for hyaluronan, treats knee pain in patients with osteoarthritis. One unit of this code represents one dose of hyaluronan to be administered through the intraarticular route, which is an injection into a joint, the point of union of two musculoskeletal structures, such as two bones. Looks like this one is just 1 unit for 1 injection as per the description of the code from SuperCoder.
