Hi...I have a question We have four Surgeons and two PA's working for us now.
When I bill for the Two Surgeons one as primary one as Assistant 80, and then either a PA or a third doctor I am getting denials for duplicate.

Can we get paid for more than two ?

Thanks
Please help.

Patti,
when billing for multiple physicians the prime and assist are the only payable parties in some states I am in California it is a state law that we have 3 physicians present when doing some of our CT surgery and it that case we can appeal with the state mandate for payment.
Hope this helps!
