Does anyone know how to correctly bill for MRI's, my office is currently performing MRI's of the thigh, tibia and fibula on the same date of service. They are producing two separate images with one interpretation. I was told to bill CPT 73718 twice with a modifier 52 on the second, is this correct? Also, should I add a narrative to distinguish the separate procedures?
